The answer isn’t straight forward, but the short answer is: food and alcohol are different beasts.
So, today I’m sharing my conversation with Amanda White, LPC. This one is about alcohol culture, disordered drinking, and the overlap it can have with diet culture and our relationship with food. This episode, and my perspective, is not anti-alcohol. I am hoping we can all have curiosity around our relationship with alcohol (and everything, really!) And this conversation may be helpful to reflect on your own relationship with alcohol, and our culture’s relationship with alcohol too!
